Healthy Minds Camp (formerly Camp Kelly for Kids.)

Camp Kelly for Kids was originally founded to provide day camp services to youth in need in Detroit only. In 2025 we are expanding and upgrading to Healthy Minds Camp, which will provide services to youth in Wayne and Oakland Counties. In 2026, we plan to expand into Macomb County and provide day camp services in the entire Southeastern Michigan area!

As part of our award-winning Children’s Services Program, CNS Healthcare holds an annual summer camp for children and adolescents. Healthy Minds Camp is designed for children and youth with a significant emotional disturbance of intellectual and/or developmental disorder who traditionally would not thrive in a standard summer day camp program.

Outdoor recreational activities are combined with behavioral and therapeutic programming to teach and reinforce positive social skills and behaviors. Our summer day camp program is specifically structured for kids who struggle within their school environment, home/family environment, and within the larger community.



Healthy Minds Camp develops a therapeutic environment that is specifically created for children as a fun summer day camp experience to those who children may not otherwise have the opportunity due to ongoing behavioral issues and/or family financial constraints.
