  • Human Trafficking

    National Human Trafficking Resource Center – 1-888-373-7888, Look Beneath the Surface, the person you have encountered may be a victim of human trafficking. The National Human Trafficking Resource Center can help you determine if you have encountered victims of human trafficking, identify local resources available to help victims and coordinate with local social service organizations to assist victims so they can begin the process of restoring their lives.

    Healthy Home Basics – The Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) enforces HUD’s lead-based paint regulations, provides public outreach and technical assistance, and conducts technical studies to help protect children and their families from health and safety hazards in the home

  • LGBTQIA+

    Affirmations of Ferndale –LGBTQIA+ resource for all ages


    Ruth Ellis Center – LGBTQIA+ resource for youth and young adults 


    Corktown Health Center: Michigan's first LGBTQIA+ focused health center, offering primary care, behavioral health, HIV care, cancer screening, and more


    Jim Toy Community Center: Located in Ann Arbor, this center offers education, social events, and advocacy for the queer and ally community 


    Affirmations: A hub for the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies in southeast Michigan


    Equality Michigan: A statewide organization that promotes equal rights and provides resources and services for LGBTQIA+ Michiganders  

     

    Michigan Safe Space: Offers virtual mental health therapy for LGBTQIA+ people and allies 


    MiGen Michigan LGBTQIA+ Elders Network: Michigan's first LGBTQIA+ senior center, serving LGBTQIA+ people ages 45 and up  


    Ozone House: Creates safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth in Michigan
